GRACE16 Hackathon: A Strategic Dialogue on “Designing a Cross-sector Collaborative Ecosystem for Coo

Organized by the International Confederation of Popular Banks (CIBP), this strategic dialogue brought together 30 Presidents, CEOs and Experts of 10 different Cooperative sectors from 21 countries in Quebec City, at the occasion of the International Summit of Cooperatives.

Participants were engaged in reaching the GRACE16 Hackathon major objectives:

a) assess the efficacy of the Augmented Collaborative Economy’s (ACE) novel model and identify its “core”,

b) capture the systemic nature of the way different coops can work together in an Augmented Ecosystem,

c) provide a set of practical and actionable insights to help managers create and capture new markets and discover new sources of profitability

d) identify what is needed to enable Coops to be empowered by ACE in the digital age.

The report of this research that includes the finding of the GRACE16 survey and the Hackathon will be publ;ished by the end of the year and presented in 2017.

The strategic dialogue was conducted by Dr. Filippopoulod of Shakesteer, author of the Global Research on Augmented Collaborative Economy, commissioned by CIBP.
